Suffolk County Vendor Protection
After MUCH frustration and headaches with our original photographer, I am relieved to say we think we've really found somebody we like! Now we just need to get our deposit back...
They have provided NO services as of yet and our contract does not specify that the deposit is non-refundable, so it shouldn't be an issue, BUT I want to be prepared, just in case.
Several people have mentioned to me that Suffolk County protects brides and grooms from unscrupulous vendors by ensuring money back as long as it's more than six months before the wedding. However, I can't seem to find anything about it online. Does anybody have a link for me?
