Suffolk police test

Anyone else taking the Suffolk police test in May? or are your fiances? Or if you have any info on the test please post! I heard it is very hard!!

FH took the test last time, but they threw the test out. Didn't even give back the test fee. Anyway, it's kinda a hard test, and it's really hard to get hired for a Suffolk P.O. FH took so many civil service tests. He went from being an NYPD P.O. to a Port Authority Cop. I hope he just stays where he is.

THey threw it out because they claim there was some cheating going on.

I thought they hired something like 100 people from the last test?

I recall some kind of lottery, but I forgot how they worked it.

In regards to the May exam, I haven't heard anything about it. I registered/paid to take it, but haven't received anything in the mail as of yet.

Suffolk is super hard to get on to. Hard physicals, hard tests. FH has taken it twice I think, and made the list both times, but he was like # 1500 and they toss the list and start over after taking like 250 from the current list. It's very frustrating. They all want it b/c its huge $$ after 6 years on. With OT they can make 6 figs. FH wants that job BAD.
