Suggest a restaurant in NYC for me...

...I want to take FH somewhere after the concert on Saturday for dinner (the show is at 3, BTW).

I feel like I either go to the same places all the time or forget about places that I've read about. I also think it's funny that I'm posting this, since I always tell people where to go to eat in the city and now I'm drawing a blank..

Doesn't have to be a purely vegetarian place, either. But no steakhouses, obviously. No fish/seafood places either because we don't eat that.

Not sure how vegetarian this is (probably has a lot of beans), but Gabrielas is an AMAZING mexican restaurant...love it.

I dont know where your concert is, but I love Spring Street Natural - not strictly vegetarian, but all organic. I highly recommend!

When I was a vegetarian (for 10 years!) I went here:

It was awesome, we got the prix fix menu, we didn't make it to desert. Make sure to get the plum wine if you go!

Oh I looooooooove Spring Street Natural! We were actually going to go there on Thanksgiving but did the family thing instead. FH never went there - thanks for reminding me!!!!!

If you like Thai there's an AMAZING place called Room Service on 9th ave btw 47 and 48. It's sooooo good and not expensive for Manhattan. They have another location but I've only been to the one in Hell's Kitchen.
