I need some advice. I am having my ceremony on the beach and reception on a deck over looking that same beach. Here is the problem. The photographs. We want to do our pictures together after the ceremony and receiving line but before the cocktail hour. We don't want to miss the cocktail hour at all and we don't want to do our pictures together before the ceremony. We don't want to see each other. So, I need some advice as to what to do with my guests for an extra 45 minutes while we are taking photos. I was thinking of all sorts of wild thoughts like a comedian or some sort of entertainment while they are all still on the beach but it all feels so not right. Please help, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you extend your CH to 1 1/2 hours? That would buy you some time, but cost you some extra $$$. You would miss the beginning of the CH, but could still catch the last 1/2 hour or so...

I thought about that but we are paying a cash bar and have very little to eat for the cocktail hour, I am affraid people are going to go crazy dinking and we will get killed on the bar bill. I am just not sure what to do. Maybe it would not cost too much, I would have to see what they would do for us at the restaurant.

hmmm That is a tough one. Maybe a performace by a singer of like a 'beachy/caribeann' type band?
