I have dragged my bm's several times to look at dresses. I finally found a dress that I loved on ALL of them (they all have such different shapes). The problem is the bottom of the dress has a couple of layers of tool. It is a summer wedding and I don't want them to be too hot. One of the bridal salons said that I could take out some of the tool. But I wonder if it would ruin the shape of the dress. What do you girls think? Here is the DRESS. I love it in brown but I think it might be too dark for a summer wedding. What do you think? I also like frappuchino. I LOVE this dress but I wonder if it is not good for a summer wedding. What do I do? Any other dress suggestions. Thanks girls!

Re: SUGGESTIONS
Well, first of all, I think that dress is just fine for a summer wedding. Our wedding is in May and we are having the same length of dress
I really LOVE the color of the dress (brown). If you are concerened about it being to dark for summer, then maybe just add bright flowers to the bo-k's.
In regards to removing some of the tulle......hmmmmmm, I'm sure it will loose some of it's shape, but how much, I don't know....that's a tough one!

Re: SUGGESTIONS
I think that as long as you don't make them wear close toe shoes and stockings the dress will be fine. As for the color I think it is a little to dark for your month but fall is around the corner so I'm sure you could get away with it if you really wanted to.

Re: SUGGESTIONS
I think the girls will be fine. Look at it like this...... If they get a little hot it's just for a few hours and look at all the stuff we're going to have on. The dress looks fine sweetie.

Re: SUGGESTIONS
Hey Wendi,
I love love love the dress! I think the brown could also work well with the bright flowers you have been thinking about- I love the contrast.
My sister got married 6 years ago on the hottest day of the summer and I don't remember it I probably was a little uncomfortable for the picture part of the day. The girls might be a little warm during the ceremony and picture time, but I am sure they won't mind too much.

Re: SUGGESTIONS
Hey date and honeymoon twin!!! my girls tried on a lot of Watters dresses and they all had tool in them..I loved the dresses but couldnt handle the tool ..THe tool shouldnt be that bad to handle though..
The salon told me the same thing but I thought it would ruin the shape of the dress because i tried taking out some tool and it wasnt as poofy as it was with the tool..
Thats just my opinion...I love the dress though!!! ITS BEAUTIFULL!!
Good luck with the dress....

I think this dress is fine for the summer. Even the color. You can always do nice bright flowers with that color.

Re: SUGGESTIONS
I wore a very similar dress with toole as a bridesmaid in a summer wedding- it was warm, but not unbearable!
I like the brown- break it up with some brightly colored flowers!
