I am looking for a Crystal Bridal Belt for my lace dress and am having such a hard time finding a good etsy vendor! I guess I am being picky!
I am looking to spend $175 or less and am def looking for the entire belt to be crystals and bling....not anything on a sash.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to stores in the area (meaning mainly Nassau county) where I could try these on, reasonable online websites, or etsy vendors that they have used and had good experiences with?

I'm not sure, but maybe Tri County? I know they have other bridal things like hair pieces and veils and whatnot, maybe they have belts too.

I'm in the same boat because I don't like the one my dress comes with and the one at the bridal shop was $700!!!! Check ebay!
This is mine it's absolutely gorgeous in person. There are a bunch of others too on norstroms.com. Also there are a bunch at the bridal suite at roosevelt field. They are very beautiful.

Thanks guys! I am also worried about the size of the belt...I think I am going to try and stick with 1 to 1 1/2 inch but it's so hard to choose a belt without the dress on =(

I bought a gorgeous belt from Nordstrom in Roosevelt Field Mall for a black tie event at Oheka. They have a wedding center; the belt was around $150 and beautiful.

I went to M&J Trimmings in the city (it's on 6th ave around 38th st, very close to Penn). They were so helpful! They let me bring my dress into the store and try it on with all the different belts (I live in the city so this is easier for me). Trying them on with the dress definitely made all the difference, I went with one that I really didn't like by itself but with the dress it was amazing. Their crystal belts can either be directly sown onto the dress or onto a sash.

How long before your wedding did you choose your belt that you had your dress already? I don't know why but I'm nervous to choose one so close to the wedding especially if I have to order it online.

I got mine sown onto a sash. They said it would take about 4 weeks but they called me in two and said it was ready for pick up. It's beautiful and they did a really great job with it. If you want it sown directly onto your dress you can buy the crystal belt from them (they have it in stock at the store) and take it to your seamstress or I think they will attach it to the dress for you.

I just went to Barrons and although they had a few belts, they were on these huge sashes which is not what I am really looking for. But if anyone is looking Barrons has some and so does the jewlery store accross from Barrons.
I went to bridal reflections in Carle Place and found a belt that I really liked although it was way out of my price range
Anyone else with any other suggestions would be great! I am looking into ETSY now for some others but would really like to physically try them on

What about the bridal world in Baldwin? It's not my fav place BUT they have great prices. You could call and ask if they have belts?
