Does anyone have recommendations of stores to look for a wedding gown/bridesmaids dresses in Western Nassau? I'm not from here, so any suggestions would be great! My FMIL lives in Bellmore, so I'd like to search between where I live in the city and around her house. I think I'd like to keep Massapequa/Huntington/Farmingdale as the Western Border, but I'm willing to go a bit farther if you loved the store/got a great deal. My budget is in the $800-$2K range. Since I'll be driving out from the city to try on and also for fittings, I'd like to keep my drive around 40 mins to an hour tops.

lillettes bellmore more 2000 range....davids bridal 500 range....I was married before and have bought from both and to be honest the dresses both are beautiful...I actually like my davids dress more lol

Lilette's is the only store I won't go to! I was in a wedding a few years ago and they altered my dress to tight and then told me the reason it didn't fit wasn't because they did it, but because I 'gained too much weight'. Right, in 2 weeks, I gained 15lbs??? That's pretty crazy.

My cousins fiance told me about a place called Village Bridals, it's in Babylon I believe. She said several of her friends recommended it and after going to a few different places with no luck she found her dress there. She also said they gave her a great price. Good luck!

WOW!! that's awful...I went in 1996 so things definitely have changed.

I had a great experience at NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale. They're the sister store to Village bridal in Babylon

Bridal World in Baldwin on Grand Avenue (5 mins from Bellmore). I wish I had gone there for my dress. Janine is great. Only reason I didn't get my dress from them was because I found a Trunk Show out east for my designer. Good luck!

This!!! Janine was great. But I wound up getting my dress from the Bridal Suite in Huntington.

TOTALLY THIS!! I love Janine so much, that even though another place was having a trunk show, I bought my dress from Bridal World (it was only a $200 difference). She was so excited for me and hugged me when I bought it! She actually picked it out for me, I had something totally different in mind and when she showed me 'her pick' omg, I was in love. Can't recommend them enough!
