I was sort of hoping to get one of my invitations framed as a gift. Not sure that this will happen, so can you give me suggestions on how to do it or where to take it to have someone else do it?
TIA.

Re: suggestions for framing your invitation
I've seen them framed in a shadow box w/ flowers and pictures from your wedding day. You could buy those in the frame department of a craft store. Here's a link from michaels.com with some ideas:
What dimensions are your invitation? Because Lenox has a beautiful crystal frame for 5x7 that is a double frame. You put a 5x7 wedding photo on one side, and the invitation on the other. I'm doing that, so I am definitely choosing a 5x7 invitation. I think it is in the wedding promises collection.

oops, I kind of forgot this was the craft board. You probably want to do something yourself. Sorry

Thanks ladies, I will look at Michael's for the shadow box. Thanks for the frame idea, but I wanted something a little more unique. I have friends who had them matted with some dried flowers and they were beautiful, but they were all married ages ago and probably don't remember who they used.

Hi - I wanted to share the gift I received at my shower:
I think she did a wonderful job and it looks easy enough to do too!

Someone had mine mounted for me. I'll try to take a pic over the weekend and post on Monday. It's just on a black wooden mount, but it looks really nice and elegant...don't know where I'm going to put it though...
