Suggestions for gramdma

I have no idea where to look for dresses?

We are having a hard time since my grandmother is 93 and sick. More than likely she won't go out to the stores to look for dresses. My mom and I decided we should bring them to her. We figured we it would make her feel involved and therefore WANT to come.

Unfortunately she is TINY, under 5' and 87 lbs (thanks to the chemo). We figure she might be a size 0 which most stores don't carry.

We're not even sure if she's going to end up coming to the wedding. I really want her there but I have a feeling she's going to change her mind at the last minute.

Any suggestions? I don't know if alterations will even be an option.

What about Estelles?

I think that is where my mom took my gram

We went there but they didn't have anything small enough. In the bridal department she said they didn't have anything smaller than a size 8 (we saw one thing she might like). She said to check petite, but I thought everything was a little too 'young'.

That could work!

We were also thinking Macy's and some of the other department stores.

How about Macy's and returning an item won't be too much of a hassle.

FH's grandma ordered something from a catalog. You might have a better shot at getting a size zero that way. . . I think it was JC Penney, they had lots of nice stuff!

My FMIL always shops at Lord & Taylor and Bloomindales for nice dresses - and they have good return policies!

Yep- JC Penney does have a lot of nice selections and dresses are always on sale.
