suggestions for HM in caribbean?

We need some suggestions for a honeymoon that is 7 days (including travel time) in february. I teach and can't really take off work so no extra down time!

We need a place <5000 and that is not a cruise.

We were thinking the carribean somewhere, but there are soooo many choices! And I've never been south of florida so I know nothing!

Since you are a teacher already, I would suggest an adults-only, since kids will likely be off that week... in the caribbean there is Sandals, a bunch of them. Also adults-only is the secrets chain, which is in dominican republic and mexico. The resort I'm going to in cancun is adults-only, but that week cancun in general will likely be overrun with kids. :)

We are going to Cap Juluca in Anguilla. It is a bit pricey, but u can probably do a Luxury Room for 7 nights. The website is www.capjuluca.com - there are room descriptions and pricing online.

We are doing Cusinart Reosrt and Spa in Anguilla. It is a little on the pricely side also, but look into it!

I would pick up Fodors Carribean 2006 to get some ideas!!! This book has been pretty helpful to me in narrowing my choices!!

I would look into Anguilla. My favorite Island in the Caribbean is St. Maartean. Anguilla is an island right next to St. Maartean. The water can not be beat.

I also recommend Aruba. We were looking into the Radisson and you could definitely do it on that price. People I work with told me the Radisson is one of the nicest hotels in Aruba. We almost booked Aruba, so I have alot of information on the Hyatt and Radisson. FM if you want any info.

St. thomas is also a great island, but I don't have any recommendations.

My cousin always goes to Sandals in Jamaica, she loves it. I heard the New Sandals White House is beautiful.

I just got back from St. Thomas, the Ritz Carlton was great! Also, just a short ferry ride away is St. John, the Westin there is great as well.

YEah I need some ideas I have no clue where to go and what to do I know I don't want to do bahama's I went there twice Cancun I did and Jamaica I did as well I would like to do a place that I haven't been to yet I know there are plenty of place but I would liek a nice romantic fun all inclusive place that isn't too expensive being that we are paying for the w edding ourself and most likely paying for the honeymoon unless someone jumps and pays for it.

Also any good cruise ideas

Eastern or Southern Caribbean cruises leaving out of Fort Lauderdale or San Juan (this is the best).
The Southern Caribbean cruises out of San Juan take you the most islands. A lot of them will stop in Aruba. Also a cruise to Bermuda, it is beautiful there. I have been to the western Caribbean many times, and Eastern and Southern is so much better.

Best cruise lines are, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Princess.

I've been to many islands in the caribbean and I love St. Maarten by far the best. It has lots of things to do and is beautiful anytime of the year. I've been there in January and also in June.
