Re: suggestions for honeymoon clothes...
in hawaii...business men wear khakis and hawaiian shirts...its a very laid-back atmosphere...but I would take a few nice light dresses for evening dinners...and make sure DH has a nice pair of khakis (you'll be able to get hawaiian shirts there...and even if he doesn't think he wants one...he will...also they have nice silk ones that are not the typical cheesy shirt)
also if you are going to venture in land...bring rain gear...or if you go to the dormant volcano on oahu...take a sweater....at 10,000 ft...its freezing...

Re: suggestions for honeymoon clothes...
dka-We have the same wedding date. Looks like we are going to be in Hawaii at the same time. I am also going to Maui and Kaui.Under Cindy's post about Hawaii we were having a little conversation on what clothing to pack as well.
I think I am bringing mostly shorts, tees, and tanks for the day. And then for night probably capris and skirt oufits. I don't own any dresses besides thing I would wear to a wedding but from what I have heard it is pretty laid back and thatwould be way too dressy.
FI is planning on bringing most khakis and maybe one or two nicer pants and then a bunch of button downs and three-button shirts. The normal stuff he wears for business casual.

Re: suggestions for honeymoon clothes...
I would bring a few nice dresses in case. When I do go away to different islands I usually get dressed up at night but found Hawaii to be very casual. A sasual dress and pants is probably fine. In the very nice restaurants a pair of khakis for the guys is enough. Like Yabbobay said, if you are doing the bike ride down the volcano, bring warm clothes. We didnt do the bike ride because we didnt want to get up at 2am. We drove up there one day and it was freezing. It was amazing that 45 minutes later I was sitting by the pool in my bathing suit and you need warm clothes up there.Welcome New Vendors
