Bellagio definately if you can afford it.. I've stayed at Ceasars and Hard Rock.. I loved the Hard Rock when I stayed there! It's off the strip, but it was still a blast when I was there.. but I think any of the hotels are OK.. it's a great time.. have fun!

Re: suggestions for LAs Vegas hotels.
I have been to VEGAS twice and absolutely loved it! Bellagio is beautiful but has an older crowd. The young and hip stay at Mandalay Bay, Hard Rock, or The Plams. I guess it depends on what atmosphere you are looking for. I just got an email from Bellagio with a coupon code to get deluxe rooms for $139 a night with free lakeview upgrade. This is for certain dates. FM me your email and I will email it to you. December is a great time to go. It is dead there and in the 70's. I am here to answer any questions. Oh also use Jetblue and you can pay as low as $69 each way if you book at the right time. I went last year and paid $69 dollars each way on Jet Blue for me and FI and stayed at the Paris Las Vegas for $59 a night. That's what I call a bargain! The Paris was beautiful as well and beautiful large rooms with great amenities for a great price.

I stayed at Mandalay Bay and loved it. I can't wait to go back. They have awesome restuarants and bars, especially Red Square which is a vodka bar and there is a block of ice embedded into the bar itself so you put your drink on it and it stays cold.

I think you should kinda figure out where on the strip you want to stay too, you don't wanna be too far from all the other hotels in case you decide to check them all out, we stayed at The Paris hotel which is in the middle, I heard mandalay is great, and of course, Bellagio is beautiful. you'll have fun no matter what.

I stayed at the Venetian and honsetly the hotel was nice but I had higher expectations. I think if we were older we would have been treated better. They were RUDE. I have heard that the people at the Belagio are even worse. Mandalay bay is suppose to be great and a very young crowed. we have stayed in Harrahs like 4 times in Vegas and honestly I would stay there again before I would stay at the Venetian besides its on the strip (next to the Venetian) its in the perfect spot and like 1/3 the price! Good Luck. I love Vegas I am like the Vegas Queen. LOL.....
ETA I agree with Kim about Jet Blue. We flew Jet Blue $99 each way and My FH will only fly jet blue now. He was not a happy Camper that Liberty Travel uses American and thats what we have to fly from here to Cali and then Cali to Hawaii cause then he cant watch TV!

Re: suggestions for LAs Vegas hotels.
I just went to Vegas for the first time last month. DH and I stayed at the Bellagio. It was incredible. I could not believe the view of the lake and fountain show that we had. I didn't think the crowd was too old, but I was not looking for a bar scene, so maybe I blended in with the older crowd. I was all about gambling and we spent our evenings at the tables and not in a bar.
DH wants to stay in New York the next time we go. He liked the food court that looked like city streets. Personally, I would like to stay at the Venetian for our next stay because I loved it, but I picked Bellagio, so DH gets to pick for our next vacation there.
You are going to have a blast no matter where you stay. I loved Vegas.

I went there for my first time in February and we stayed at New York New York. I loved it, but next time I want to stay at the Bellagio. Next year, when I go with the girls, we'll probably stay at the Hard Rock.

I loved it too. The Red Square was an awesome place to have a drink with the ice bar.

The first time we went to Vegas we went to MGM, but if we go again we'll stay at Mandalay Bay- we really liked it there.
