My mother's dress came in a few weeks ago and her first fitting is this week. She hates the color. It was supposed to be lavendar and it's more of a dark purple. Sooo she is on the lookout for a new dress if possible...wedding is soon, any ideas of where she could look besides the department stores? I want her to be totally happy with her dress.
Estelle's is Farmingdale is worth a look since you don't have much time.
We got my mother's dress at RK Bridal. For whatever reason, they had it in stock at the company and she received it in Florida 2 weeks after she ordered it! We didn't ask for a rush order or anything.

Sugarplum in Lynbrook - they have all the dresses in stock so nothing needs to be ordered.
my mom got her dress from Estelle's, off the rack on sale for $99!!!! and it's beautiful
I would say Estelle's too only b/c they have a large selection of dresses.
my friends mom told me about a place called mother of the bride (?) they are in great neck....
