Any suggestions for a rehearsal dinner near Bayside? Our Church is St. Kevin's. My fiance's family is from CA, FL, and IL, so we are looking for a restaurant that's no more than a 5 - 20 minute drive from the Church.

Donovans on Bell Blvd Burbon Street also on Bell Il Faganio - on Utopia Pky in Whitestone (15 min from St Kevin's) - private room available Castle Mare - on Utopia Pky in Whitestone (15 min from St Kevins) - Sal & John - bros who own in very nice...private room HTH! Let me know if you need any more suggestions. I live in Fresh Meadows.

Pier 25A, its on Northern Blvd. That's where I'm planning to have mine.

I went to a bridal shower at Donovans - it was great and they have a nice party room.

Also right across from Donovan's is Monahan Fitzgeralds--they have a party room upstairs.
Also in Whitestone is The White House, they have a LARGE party room downstairs
Pier 25A has wonderful food!!!!!

Ahhhh... Saint Kevin's was my parish growing up!! I keep wondering where me and FH are going to have ours (We're probably going to get married at Saint Robert's, his family's church.) My FMIL suggested Bourbon Street. There is also the new place Gino's Trattoria but I haven't heard anything about the food there yet. Pier 25A is also good and if you don't mind traveling a bit there is Main 415 in Port Washington (which is where I think we will have ours.) BTW thanks for the post...it's helpful to me too!

I had my e party at castel mare. It was really nice, but not super private. The service, food, and price were great though. They could also only fit about 35 people.
I am not sure about price or minimums, but what about Cafe on the Green?

Someone beat me to it, but Donovan's is great! One of my favorie places in Bayside.

Is Gino's the new restaurant on Bell and 35th Avenue?
St. Robert's is very nice too! St. Kevin's was my childhood parish, but we used to go to St. Roberts sometimes too. BTW...did you go to St. Kevin's school?

How about Giordinos in Douglaston? I think it is owned by Frank Russo....the owner of Russos on the Bay.

Giardinos on Douglaston Parkway, great food and it's not pricey...I'm trying to think where else..i've only lived in bayside 23yrs!

I was going to suggest Giardinos as well. It is my most favorite place to eat and I am planning on having my Rehearsal Dinner there
