I am def. placing each Kodak camera in an organza bag. My question is do I do a tent card (I have quite a few of these I bought a box) or do a tag? Not sure which one to go with...

I'd use a tag.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
don't go crazy.. use what you have.. most people don't even notice.. and have your band leader or DJ make an announcement or designate someone at each table to make sure that they take pics.

Are you making the tents or are you buying them? If your making them, are their cute poems or phrases you are using?

I was just about to ask the same question regarding cute sayings/poems to place near bags with cameras. Any suggestions are always appreciated.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
I would have the dj mention it. People know what the cameras are there for. Dont make extra work for yourself.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
I have the poem I used from the e-party tent cards. I can use that. I would be printing the tent cards myself.
I had the dj make an announcement at the e-party to make sure to leave the camera at the table when they are finished with it. I will do the same for the wedding. At the e-party my aunt took the camera at my family table. My mother let her take it! I was so pi$$ed! I had all the cameras numbered so I knew which ones were missing.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
I was thinking of marking the tabl # on the bottom. I guess u will just have to think who the cheap one is at that table?

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
Yikes!! I am soooooooooo not worrying about people stealing them. My friend said she had more pics of the same stuff than she knew what to do with. I think I am going to do the scavenger hunt with mine though, so hopefully we will get something a little different.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
I made scavenger hunt lists on 8 1/2' by 11' paper, folded it, and wrapped it around the cameras, and then put the cameras in white organza bags. That way, everyone has clear instructions, and the rose print on the paper makes the bag look patterned.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
I'm also doing the scavenger hunt on these tent cards - got 25 for like $16
I'll have DJ announce that guests check out the tent cards on the tables, make announcments for guests to return them & will probably have someone collect them towards the end of the evening & write numbers on them.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
The night before FH and I got engaged we went to a wedding and actually left with the camera by accident... ..ooppsss... luckily we saw the bride and groom at the hotel later that night so we gave it back... so if anyone takes the camera it may be by accident. By numbering the camera by the table numbers, you could always ask anyone at that table if they accidently took the camera.

Re: Suggestions for table cameras presentation
We are doing the scavenger hunt for our cameras... I made cards to be taped to the backs of the cameras wuth the list and I numbered each camera... to go along with the catering hall seating ... My family and FH family consits of a bunch of clepto's!!!! That way we can harass the right members if they arent returned!!!!!!!
