Re: Suggestions in North Shore in Suffolk
I booked at Giorgio's in Baiting Hollow and totally recommend them. The hall and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. And, it's all family owned and runned, one wedding at a time, I could go on and on...

Me too. I love Giorgio's. From the ballroom you can't see the beach, but they have a gorgeous garden and porch that overlooks the golf course. You have access to the beach and they even have a 'limo' golf cart that drives you down there for pictures. It's a hidden gem on the North Fork that I suggest everyone checks out. The food, atmosphere and service is to die for!

If you want something right on the water tell your friend to check out Lombardi's on the Sound in Port Jeff - Very pretty and a SPECTACULAR view, Danfords - also in Port Jeff - but I think it's a bit small and run down, Three Village Inn - in Stony Brook - also small and Windows on the Lake - in Lake Ronkoncoma - I don't know much about this place I've never been there.
Other NS places though not right on the water are: Watermill in Smithtown (MY PLACE- YAY!! :^) ), Gorgio's in Baiting Hollow - Very pretty and senic, The Eastwind in Baiting Hollow- also really pretty, Majestic Gardens in Rocky Point - Pretty, Smithtown Landing - Pretty. There really are a TON she can look at but these are a few off the top of my head!
