hi all! so i went to david's bridal yesterday to get my feet wet with trying on dresses...had an idea of what i think i would look good in....tried a bunch of dresses on and have figured out the following..
i look great in a pick up skirt i actually look good in strapless (was thinking off the shoulder was the way to go for me) sweetheart neckline is the way to go little or no train preferred and the lace up back looks good too
so, my mission is to find a sweetheart, strapless dress with pickups, lace up back with little to no train...in plus size.
i have no idea where else to look....or what designers....or even a website to look for anything that resembles the above dress....
any help would be greatly appreciated....my wedding is 9/19/09, so i gotta get crackin on this !

i was going to suggest a maggie as well! i'm plus size and wore a maggie sottero. i was just looking at the site and there are TONS of beautiful gowns.

Found this Maggie that sort of describes what you're saying. It has a small train but you could have that removed if you wanted.

I think is was Jenise and 08 bride that wore that dress exactly i think!!!! an 09 bride just posted her fitting pics that was the same dress but i cant recall who it was....i'll try to find a pic
Hey what time were you there? Was it the one in Lake Grove? I was there around 12pm with my mom and saw a few girls trying on dresses.

thanks all! guess maggie is the way to go...i think lillette's is the closest place that carries maggie.
sofreakin~i was at davids at the source mall....it was a MADHOUSE! well, duh! i should have known the source mall on a saturday afternoon was going to be totally nuts!! lmao! :)
