DO you know ahead of time which couple is going to be the oldest couple? Maybe you can use their song from when they got married?

We're using It Had To Be You -- we wanted a somewhat upbeat danceable song. - I love the idea of picking the oldest couple's song. I might look into that .....

When I was planning on having an anniversary dance I wanted It Had To Be You (Harry Coonick Jr.version), All the Way (Frank) or (hold on.. some major 80's cheese comin' atcha) I'll Always Love You by Taylor Dayne (I had my sentimental reasons )

We used 'Love me with all of your Heart or not at all'

It was my parents wedding song from 30 years ago

We are thinking of doing a 'man loves a woman' or whatever that song is called. That was my parents song that they danced to at their wedding. just one more way we are trying to honor them.
i don 't know if that would have been our first choice, but i like the sentimental value. do you know what song your parents danced to, or FH's??

i'm doing a dance for both sets of our parents together. they've each been married for over 36 years, so i thought it'd be a nice way to honor them. i'll be doing this instead of the bo'k and garter toss. i'm using the song 'still the one' i think shania twain sings it?
