Suggestions on Cookware...

I'm a nut when it comes having things to match. So I registered for All-Clad Stainless Steel 10-Piece Set (includes 8- and 10-inch fry pans, 2-quart covered saucepan, 3-quart covered saucepan, 3-quart covered sauté pan, and 8-quart covered stockpot), since this is a popular brand/style -- I wouldn't have any problems of things not 'matching'.

Well, until now.....

I need some more pots and pans and I can't really afford All-Clad.

Can anyone recommend Open Stock pots and pans that are (1) affordable, (2) looks similar to the All-Clad Stainless Steel (see picture below) so they sorta match and (3) has a lot of different sizes of pots and pans to choose from?

Or if there is an All-Clad outlet?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

I have Calpalon and some All-Clad pieces. Calpalon is a little more economical and still a great product and they have similar styles to the All-Clad that you posted.

I would just go to Bed, Bath( they have a great selection) and look around to see what looks good with it.

Not to be totally cheesy, but my Mom bought me Cook's Essentials Cookware from QVC and I love it. Does a great job, easy clean up, no problem!

I have Caphalon, All Clad and some other non-name brand pieces. One I got at the supermarket and I love it.

You need some good non-stick and unfortunately, good non-stick is expensive. Don't cheap out on that or it won't last. Also use plastic or rubber when cooking with that surface.

I use the 20% coupons at Bed Bath and Beyond and it helps to buy good quality stuff. I have been buying stuff over the years.

All clad has a big spaghetti pot (big) for $100 at BBB and I used the coupn. It has a steamer insert and a pasta insert too. Good value.

We have Cuisinart, which we love. It looks pretty similar...

Completely off topic... do you like All Clad? Do you find it too heavy?

Now ON topic... try Marshall's and BB&B always has coupons so maybe that will help.

I like it. Actually when I was registering I went and lifted all the pots and pans to see it they were too heavy. And I felt that between all of them the All Clad Stainless wasn't as heavy as the rest of All Clad and others.

I say buy the heaviest pots and pans you can! When it comes to washing the dishes - 'It's too heavy for me to lift' - is the perfect excuse!

As far as buying All Clad- keep in mind that Bed Bath and Beyond accepts competitors coupons- like Linens N Things 20% off ones. They have these coupons every week in the paper. Maybe you could try that.
Also- try Overstock.com

I second the Home Goods, Marshalls TJMaxx suggestion. They carry most of the major brands at open stock and cheap prices.
