Becco (own by lidia of lidia's kitchen)
they have a price fix menu of 21 dollars per person. (they don't advertise it on their site but they do have it and it's DELICIOUS!)

Maria Pia is also very good.

Carmine's is great...it's just A LOT of food...love it though...

Virgil's is REALLY good if you like BBQ...

If you want good steak, there's Ruth's Chris on 51st, or Del Frisco's on 49th and 6th...

Is Becco very touristy? I wanted to stay away from like carmines because everyone goes there

Becco sounds good though!

Carmines is good but one problem is just how crowded it gets and you can end up waiting a long time for a table. I would say to check out tony dinapoli's in case its too crowded although they might be packed too.

one place that is not that far but also not right there either but very very good is Vagabondo's. They even have bacci ball on the side for anybody who wants to play that.

Plataforma is right by where you will be, its a brazilian churascarria and so good.

Years ago i went to this restaurant called Pietro santro right by where you will be but i am not 100% sure if it is still open but it was amazing. I'll try to find out if its still open

good idea to stay away from carmines, its great food but honestly if you go on a weekend its just too insane. We made reservations and still had to wait about an hour for a table. Unfortunately ALOT of places in times square will get extremely crowded and can be touristy. If you venture out just right outside of times square and i mean still right around there but a few blocks away it would be better

Well with a churascarria what they do is they have these round cards in front of you at your table, kinda looks like a round coaster. One side is red the other side is green. Then they come around with all this meat non-stop, its so good and every thing you can think of. They bring it around to your table if you want more meat you keep your card on green and if you dont want anymore you leave your card on red. Then they have this buffet in the middle of the place with such good food. They have this rice with cheese that is amazing. The price is all the same for everybody, they charge the same thing since you can eat as much as you want. When i went a while ago the price was great for all you get. They even come around with desert carts and wine carts. My friend went not along ago and she told me just how much they raised their prices so now its a bit pricey. Once paris hilton started going there all the time and others i think they thought they could do this now . The inside is very nice though and they have a live band
