Suggestions? Photographer will do outside e-shoot but w/ no proofs??

My photographer agreed to let us have an out of studio shoot...however...this doesn't include any photos or negatives...just, a SHOOT.

What's the point if you can't enjoy the pics?
It seems like a waste? I really want outside natural engagement shots and am thinking of hiring someone else to do it (at least i'll get the proofs!)

What do u think...

i would ask if can even get ditigal files of what was taken....

more or less, the point of engagement shot is to see how you will shoot with that company. if you cant shot you well to your liking, it would be in the best intrest to find another company.

So he's going to take pictures of you guys and then you aren't going to see them?? That sounds odd...
