So I'm getting married on my younger brothers 10th birthday. He said that was totally fine as long as I got a chocolate fountain
Anyways, I still want to show him that even tho we're getting married, its still his bday and its still a big deal. (I thought 10 was the biggest deal when I was younger) We're getting a cake for him at the reception, but I was trying to think of things we could do with him at my house in the am.
We're ordering breakfast anyway, so my BMs thought maybe we could have a mini bday party for him while we eat, drink mimosas and primp. Some even thought we could get some cute photos with him opening gifts and me in a wedding dress!
Any other suggestions?

how about also having his bday mentioned by your band/dj (or you or FH) during the reception....maybe after the speeches/

My FFIL's birthday is Sept 4th. Our wedding is Sept 3rd and ends at 1am. At 12am Im going to have the band sing Happy Birthday to him. Maybe you can do something like that? That would make him feel very included :) HTH!

Honestly.. I'm not THAT big of a fan of the idea of having a mini party for him while you girls are getting ready. I know if I were him, there's no way I'd really enjoy being around a bunch of girls doing girly things. Plus, it's so hectic (physically and emotionally) your not even going to have time for anything else.
The cake is an awesome Idea to do during the RH. Maybe allow him to bring his best friend to the wedding might be a good idea.

i think the mini bday party sounds like an awesome idea! maybe if you and fh are giving a speech or just saying thank you to everyone who came you can say happy birthday to him then too

Thanks Ladies!! He's OBSESSED with Pokemon so I wanted to get him a fancy pokemon cake too....I just dont know if I can afford it!
