Suggestions pleasee

I'm not 'crying,' so please don't think that's what I am doing. I admitt that I'm blessed in many ways. I know a lot of you girls also tutor/teach, but if anyone knows someone who is looking for a tutor for their child, and you cannot do it, would you recommend me? I am in the process of being certified. I have a ton of field experience and a high GPA. I just don't know how to get my name out there. Can anyone offer a suggestion, besides Craigslist.

My FH's mother's care is getting more and more expensive, even with the best health insurance. We're not saving a dime for this wedding. I'm just so aggrivated at this point. I'm not cold. I treat my fmil like she is my own mother. I just want things to look up for a little while.

What do you tutor in?

Maybe go to different local schools and see if you can put up a posting....

Or honestly ANYWHERE that mothers go, they could see a flyer about your tutoring services..... places like the local gym or nail salon might be an option to just put up a flyer also!

I have business cards and I put them in all the local stores: grocery, CVS, Pizzeria, etc.

I tutor grades K-6 in all content areas, as well as higher level English.

I'll keep trying!

Try a local library as a place to hang up a sign. Or call local schools guidance offices.

Re: Suggestions pleasee

thak you..one part of me feels so blessed to be healthy and be in the position to help my fmil and fsil who are struggling so much right now.

But at the same time I am worried about paying for my wedding. My FH is preoccupied with his mother being ill, which is completely understandable.

It's just soo stressful but I have faith and know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I'll be rewarded later on for my good deeds.
