Suggestions/Advice/Ideas please

So I posted a topic a couple of days ago about flowers/pricing. Well, the quote finally came in from the woman I met with and it's insane. I love her work and we know her, which makes it a lot nicer, so I would love to use her, but i need to cut costs somewhere on her estimate.

Originally we discussed doing two low centerpieces on the table due to it's oblong shape. I thought one large centerpiece in the middle may not look right on a table that's longer, but at $200 for each piece, I can definitely try to come up with something else that works that wont break the bank.

After looking over her pricing, I was thinking if I did a full centerpiece in the middle of the tables, I could do a cluster of different sized candles on either side of it and have votive candles that extend the rest of the table on both sides. She did say that if I went and got the candles, she would definitely set them up for me, which is definitely nice.

What do you girls think? I tried looking up ideas online for oblong tables and didn't find much.

Also wanted to ask what you all are paying for your BoK?
