So we re thinking of having the groomsmen in suits but do you consider groomsmen as fathers, etc. Also, do you think they all have to wear the same suit. i want them all to look alike for pics. so.

We did our guys in suits...loved it. The groomsmen were all in the same suits...but my dad wore his own suit, as did Dave's dad.
We also had them in all different ties...

you can do whatever you want. I would probably either do the same suit or matching tie/vest.
This way they will look a little different from the rest of the guests. Or if you are not doing basic black, just do the same color suit in different styles to flatter each guy.
We are doing different tuxes for fathers because we were advised the 3 button style we chose isn't as flattering on bellys (sorry dad!) so we got them 1 button style with vests.
