Ok so FH and I are so lost about our honeymoon. We wanted to go to Sandals Antigua but we're getting married smack in the middle of hurricane season. Where are all the summer brides going?

We are taking our chances and going to Jamaica, but we added cancel any time insurance. That way if there is a hurricane coming we will rebook a last minute deal somewhere else.

we're risking it and going to Mexico. Just make sure you get insurance if you go someone thats not outside the hurricane belt.

we are going to Sandals Antigua...taking a chance yes, but Sandals also has Hurricane insurance, so if there is one, you are covered. We went through Liberty Travel and they explained everything to us....GOOD LUCK!

The hurricane belt is an area in the Atlantic Ocean, including the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico, which is prone to hurricanes during the Atlantic hurricane season. The only places in the Caribbean that are not in the hurricane belt are the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, Bonaire, Curacao, Aruba, Panama, and the islands off of Venezuela.

We are doing to Dominican republic and just bititng the bullet because we went to cancun alst year in VERY early June and it still rained the entire trip. Caribbena is always iffy because my fam livs in Puerto Rico and we have gone during 'high season' when the weather should be ideal and had it pour.
