Summer Brides

What color are your bridemaid's dresses?

I really wanted to have a blue dress with yellow flowers to contrast but I'm afraid that blue will be too dark for August. Any opinions?

My wedding is September 18, 2004 so its the end of the summer beginning of fall and I am using Plum for my girls

I am getting married in July and mine are this one and a purple (the purple was a mistake but I like it even more)

My wedding is in August and my dresses are a reddish/wine color.

I have been to summer weddings where the girls wore navy blue and had bright yellow flowers and I thought it looked very nice.

I was married in August 2002, and my girls wore cornflower blue. I also had yellow and orange roses with delphinium. My MOH had more delphinium, which is this photo here. My boquet is next to it.

Im getting married in late May and it will either be Cloudy blue, silver, platinum or violet (lavendar)

This is my bridesmaid dress for my June wedding. Kind of a light silvery blue.

My wedding was August 24, 2002. Our wedding theme color was champagne with a touch of gold and ivory. My BM's gowns were champagne, Jr. BM was an ivory gown. Our favors were tall shot glasses personalized with our names, date and a just married car in gold lettering. Our invitations were gold script letter with a little gold flower, gold heart shaped envelope seals, champagne rose program stationery, champagne rose bountierres for the men.

The champagne theme fits beautifully with our mid-summer New York City wedding! Some pics of our wedding:

I want yellow for my BM's, but its hard to actually find a picture of a dress in yellow! I found a really cute tea length yellow dress by Vanessa Fox, but its too expensive, something like $250. I dont even know what's appropriate for a BM to pay, and I dont want to send them broke. If anyone finds any pictures online of cute yellow BM dresses, let me know!
