Now that my internship situation is finally all set for next year, I realize that I'm going to be off from mid-may through august. Aside from a couple of weeks of vacation, I have no plans, and I would love to earn some extra money.
Does anyone have any ideas/leads/suggestions on part-time psychology or child related summer jobs? I will be perfectly happy babysitting all summer! I'll be a very overqualified babysitter, but it's money!

Re: summer job ideas
I know of one but it dones't pay well at all. I got this fellowship last year to run a program that helsp underprivileged kids take the SAT and get into college. It's very rewarding but you can't do it for the $$

check local universities - many hold summer camps and are looking to hire right now. FH does this for StonyBrook in the summer and makes decent money.

check craigslist for nanny positions? how about doing the temp thing.....you could control the time you worked?
how about retail in your fave store just for the discount?

I worked for a while at the Sylvan Learning Center. The money wasn't bad, and it was pretty easy work, if you already have teaching experience.
