Summer wedding- but are these the right colors??

Ok...I want to use the colors Champagne for the BM's dresses and add the accent color of crimson red!! I just love the way those 2 colors look together....


however I do not know if they are appropriate for a summer wedding...we plan on getting married Memorial Day weekend...any advice!?

Also, since I used to dance (for like 16 years) and have done those dance competition my whole life revolved around diamons/glitter/rhinestones-

I kinda wanna use the theme of rhinestones as well like on the menus and placecars and favors- would that look tacky with champange and crimson red??

IMO 'summer colors' just means not dark like black or heavy materials like velvet. But champagne would look beautiful and I LOVE red.

As far as the rhinestones, it depends how you use them. Like anything, too much of a good thing makes you go OYE! How were you thinking of incorporating them? one thing I have seen done is putting them in the center of stephanotis blossoms in leu of pearls. That would add subtle sparkle in the sunlight.
