Hi Girls! I've been thinking about either doing lavendar, dark purple, and a vivid, earthy green..
Or, light purple, silver, and the green.
Men's tuxes will have some green in them, I think.
Should MOH have a different color dress?
What are some of your summer wedding colors?

We did lavender & mint -- the girls wore mint colored dresses (actually Alfred Angelo pistachio) with a lavender sash. The men wore mint green vests (but not solid green -- they had a gray stripe) to match. I did white and lavender roses for all the flowers.
I was very pleased with how it all looked.

DH wore white, but the other men wore the mint striped ties.

I had a day-time wedding, so we didn't do uplighting or any of that stuff since I wanted as much natural light as possible.
The MOB and MOG both wore pastel colors, which was perfect IMO.

I think that the colors should be the vivid ones, that seems so pretty. And the MOH dress can be the same color, and just a different dress, or a shade off from the other dresses. OR it can be the exact same dress. I was my cousin's MOH and I had the same dress, but a diff. flower arrangement than the other girls.... many many options!!

I'm doing shades of blue and some green. I don;t want to be committed to one hue. Lots of pics in my albums. This is my BM dress.

My men got their tuxes at Esquire Tuxedo in Merrick. We worked with Mike there (they're a vendor from LIW!) and he was amazing to work with! Almost my entire wedding party was from OOT and he was able to accommodate them all, even just by having them call in their measurements! They had a tailor in the store on the day the men picked up the tuxes, too, which was great for any last minute adjustments!
I got the FG dress at Macy's on the day after Easter on sale for $30 (it was originally $60). It was so funny because my SIL (it's her daughter) and I were looking a little before Easter because there are zillions of dresses on sale that look like FG dresses but I kept saying 'I want something with purple flowers so she'll match' and then I saw that one and it was just what we wanted! She was only 1 1/2 at our wedding but looked so super adorable!
If you want to see any more wedding pics or ideas, let me know! I also have tons of leftover ribbon from Michael's so if you decide to use those colors, I'd be happy to mail it to you! They were only $1 per mini ribbons and I bought way more than we needed.
We used the ribbons on the bubble wands too. They came out really cute.
My MOH made our RB pillow and used lavender ribbon too on that:
I just love the spring and it was never a question in my mind that I wanted a light and airy spring feeling for our wedding.

Yes pink and green is really pretty too, but my original color was purple so I think I'll stick to that, but the pink is definitely pretty too. Too many choices!
