SummerBeauty how were RHs?

You ladies remember everything! My day was phenomonal although we have a few minor differences of opinions.

I figured out right away what I didn't like because we started at Lombardi's on the Sound. I realized that I thought I would love the granite, marble, mirror look but I ended up hating it. So that was scratched right away.

Then we went to the Watermill.. I fell in love almost immediately. I can't stop thinking about it. I want to book ASAP lol..but I promised my fiance we would finish looking at the places I had planned. So I am in the process of going through and scratching off anything that looks like marble and granite. I loved the homey feel of the Watermill and their menu was by far the most extensive.

Smithtown Landing I won't comment on just say that I didn't like it at all.

Flowerfield had beautiful grounds but I didn't love the cocktail room or the ballroom.

Majestic Gardens was one of the marble/granite places. So right off the bat it wasn't my style.

We then made an appointment at Giorgios. It was beautiful but I have to be honest.. I didn't love it as much as the Watermill. It was very pricey. Watermill gave us a price we could afford on a Friday night and the only price we could afford at Giorgios was on a Sunday day 12-5. I'm not a fan of this.

Now the problem is..I'm in love with Watermill and FH is in love with Giorgio's. He said whatever makes me happy makes him happy but.. what do you ladies think?

Well I'm glad you had fun!! I looked at the Watermill too and really liked it. It was one of my top 3 (Watermill, Swan Club, and Sand Castle)! The pros for me with the Watermill was the menu (the little food plate he gave us was great), the cleanliness of the venue, the ballroom (so pretty!), and all of the places you could take pics, even if it rained (GOD FORBID!! haha). The one con for me was that they do 2 weddings at a time. Most people don't mind, but it just didn't sit right with me. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I have gone to some very nice weddings at Gorgios and the food was great, but I didn't personally look at it myself (from a bride and groom perspective) so I can't really help there. HTH and good luck! I'm sure either one will be a great choice!

ETA: another Watermill plus was Samantha! I heard great things about her

Idk what were gonna do yet... We may do watermill during the day on sunday cause the price was awesome--and I really love it there. Second appointment monday

That great!!!! Thats what happened to me when we were looking the top was westbury manor and i fell in love it with and every place else we looked i was not impressed at all LOL.. The watermill is great place ....that great you have a second appt. ( the food is really good too)

FH and I couldnt decide on Watermill or Jericho Terrace, we were going NUTS for 2 weekends straight...back and forth..OMG it was insane ..lol We absolutely LOVED both!!! The deciding factor was my 4yr old daughter...lol.....She picked Jericho out of a hat, bc we had it at that point..lol Good Luck to you in whichever place you choose!!

Its hard picking a place when you love two of them...but that is cute that left it up to your daughter

I totally agree..that is adorable.

I am getting a little concerned about the two weddings at one time.. =(
