SUN BATHING

HEY GIRLS

I JUST WANTED TO TELL EVERYONE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL IF YOUR SITTING IN THE SUN. I WENT TO THE BEACH ON SUNDAY GOT A SUNBURN EVEN USING SUN BLOCK . I GOT SUN POISIONING ON MY FACE I GOT OOZING BLISTERS ON MY FARHEAD AND MY FACE SWELLED UP. I CAN HARDLY OPEN MY EYES. I WENT TO THE DR TWICE SO FAR. I HAVE 'Edema ' WHICH IS SWELLING FROM SO MUCH FLUILD. MY FARHEAD WAS SO SWOLEN THAT THE FLUID HAD NO WHERE TO GO IT STARTED GOING DOWN MY FACE TO MY EYES AND NOSE. TODAY I CAN OPEN MY EYS A LITTLE MORE THEN YESTERDAY. ALL I COUD THINK WAS THANK GOD THIS WASN'T BEFORE MY WEDDING. SO PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN THE SUN

awwww I hope u feel better!
2 years ago when I went in the sun with no block I got blisters on my face I had 2nd degree burn. From now on I ALWAYS put block on my face.

I know its painful, youll get better soon.

THANKYOU. IT IS PAINFUL AND ANNOYING.I CAN;T EVEN GO TO WORK. BECAUSE I CAN HARDLY OPEN MY EYES. I HAVE TO PUT ICE ON MY FACE EVERY HOUR FOR 20 MINS. THIS IS NOT FUN

Do you have Witch Hazel??? It takes the heat out of the skin and it will heal faster. Or even tea bags.

That sun is brutal! My whole life I have been a beach/pool bum and never wore block. I'm olive skinned and never ever burned. In the past couple of years I have gotten some nasty burns, not just in the caribbean but also from our LI sun. Awful! I now gob and slather 30 block on!!!

that happen to me once, to the point that I was so burnt my skin would not even absorb moisturizer. I used purpose face moisturizer to prevent even more peeling. I always use sunnblock now!

Awww! Feel better! I have gotten some bad burns before so I am always extra careful about using sunscreen.

Aww sunburns are the worst espescially when theyre that bad...i gave up and accepted my paleness the last time I got a bad burn sunscreen all the way...Feel Better!!!

Something similar happened to me like 3 years ago when I went to Cancun. I didnt think I would get alot of color in 5 days so I layed out with baby oil on...bad bad BAD idea.

I hope you feel better. Thanks for the advice. I've been using SPF 40 and it has treated me pretty well. I'm irish and german and I fry if I don't put something on.
