~*~*SUNDAY 8/09/09 QOTD~*~*

Happy Sunday!

I can't believe it's time for my last QOTD! I had a lot of fun thinking up things to ask. Yesterday one of my friends reminded me that 2 days after she got married, she and her new hubby were waiting at the airport for their HM flight, and she looked at him and said 'I have nothing to say to you...' Mind you that was 17 years ago so I guess they found something to talk about since their still happily married!

Here's today's question....

Do you sometimes feel like all you and FH do is focus on the wedding? Do you think you'll miss planning your wedding when it's over?

If you are married, do you miss the excitement of it all? And did you have something besides the wedding to talk about on the HM

FH and I actually have to make time to talk about the wedding. We are so consumed with the house purchase process, the wedding is getting in the way! Also, he's been working lots of overtime, so it's hard to sit down and talk together.

I will definitely miss it though. As much as I grumble that I want my life back and I miss having money, this whole process has been lots of fun.

I miss planning my wedding so much!! And of course we talked about stuff besides the wedding on our HM! But with that said, we made friends on our HM and I think thats what helped to make it an even more awesome time!

I sooooooooo miss wedding planning (which is why I'm still on this board 24/7.

We already lived together, so really not too much has changed after the wedding... and no for at least a year!

We just started looking at houses though so I guess I have that to keep me busy.

Hahaha we did talk about things other than the wedding on the HM.... but mostly the wedding.

i know i will def miss planning the wedding because for my entire life, all i dreamt about was my wedding, and then for as long as ive been with FH all i dreamt about was our wedding, then for the last (almost) year all i have actually been doing is planning our wedding!!

My SIL says i will def miss it when its over, but its not exactly over right away, gotta pick out the pictures, and get to see the video when its done, so something to look forward to when its over!

i think after its all over, i will just start the next two things that i always dreamt about, getting a house, and then having babies to put in the house!!!!!

I definitely do miss the wedding planning - which is why I still come on LIW! Gotta get my fix!
We haven't gone on our HM yet (January) but I'd say maybe the first day or two after the wedding it was all we talked about. Then we went back to work a few days later so life went back to the usual grind
