Sunday brides who are you using for hair/makeup?

I need to start finding someone, I know this has been posted before but i dont want to waste time calling places that wont do a sunday.

please let me know who and where i should try, I am not looking to spend a fortune. (like who is lol)

Michelle from Cactus (in commack, near the wedding center) will do my hair and Serenity in commack will do my make-up on a Sunday!!

I called Denise she charges $90 for the bride and $55 for everyone else, the trial is $25 but free if you book, I guess that is good, I may book a trial

Who else compares to this?? I think JN is out huh

I used TCarlton Spalon on a Sunday. They were so nice & they did a great job on myself & the entire bridal party. They came to my house & did hair and make-up.

littleonedj2, who did you have from T Carlton? How many came out? I wanted to use them but they quoted me way more money than that!! But maybe that was for them to open the salon on Sunday. I didn't realize there was an option for them to come to you?!!

ooops, edited to say that i mixed up the messages (boy am i tired!) How much was T Carlton to come out, do you mind me asking??

I am using my hairdresser for my up-do...she is excellent and can do practically anything...her name is JoAnn 345-9439 (locat. Ridge)...i havent decided on my makeup...possibly my Mary Kay consultant...I love their makeup....but I do have an appt with JN..so you never know...I still have time to decide

I am a Sunday bride, and a holiday weekend as well

I am using Fairytale, but I did a bit of research - maximus is open and Joseph Christopher in Long Beach too - I am sure the bigger salons are open sunday, but the person you want might not be available. When you go for your trial, make sure its with someone who is there on a Sunday

I used Lynette, she regularly cuts my hair. She did myself & one other bridesmaid.
Then Christine did all of our make-up, she did a GREAT job & she was so... nice.
And then there was another girl who did hair, I totally forgot what her name was though.
They were on-time, & did a really great job.

I was a Sunday bride and John Anthony from red door salon did my hair and makeup Laura who also works there did my sisters and my mother Our hair and makeup looked great. Give him a call

I just booked a trial with Lorraine from romantic hair studios anyone hear of her, prices seemed good and she was very nice over the phone, I dont want to have to do a million of these trials

I haven't found a hair person yet, unless I use my guy in Queens, do I really want to travel to Queens that morning? It's a debate I have w/ myself every other day...
I'm doing my own make-up
