I'm not sure if my regular hair stylist is going to be available for my Sunday wedding. I was just curious what other Sunday brides are doing since most salons are closed??? Any recommendations for someone good that will come to me? Thanks!

Re: SUNDAY BRIDES- Who is Doing Your Hair???
I would talk to your usual hairstylist. If you have been going to the same salon for a while, they may open for you, or she may come to you the day of the wedding. My stylist mentioned that they would have done that for me if I had gotten married on a Sunday.

I booked Denise Venti. www.deniseventi.com
She comes to you the day of the wedding.
Good luck

My regular salon wanted to charge me double the normal price.
I am using Taralei from Princess Brides for my hair, and I'm VERY happy.

Wow! That is horrible! I hope you don't go there anymore.

Nope, I don't.
Actually, I'm looking for a new place, reasonably priced, in Nassau. Any ideas?

A family member is going to be doing my hair, but I would definately check with your salon and see if someone can come to your home and do it. You can also check your reception hall, because they may have a salon/spa that they refer to. Good Luck! Happy planning!

My mom goes to Final Touch in Bethpage. I haven't been there is years, ( b/c I moved) but I am getting my hair done there for my wedding.
So, I can't really reccomend anyone in particular from experience, but my mom goes to Toni, becaues we already knew her.
(She was my Girl Scout leader)

My normal salon is closed on Sundays also. Luckily, one of the haridressers agreed to come to my house on that day. I'd ask the hair dressers at your salon.

Sorry! I'm a Suffolk girl. But good for you for not going there anymore. Doesn't customer loyalty mean anything anymore???
