Re: Sunday Brunch Weddings??????
Never been to one, but originally FH and I were planning a Sunday Brunch wedding for a completely outdoor ceremony and reception under a tent. Our plans changed, but we are still tossing that idea around for a reception hall. I think it would be so unique and cute!
It might just be me though since I'm not a night person (at all) and never really wanted an evening wedding.

Re: Sunday Brunch Weddings??????
I went to one. It started at 11 and lasted till well after 4. The brunch buffet was great but after we ate there really wasnt anything to do. There was a partial open bar. Beer, wine, champagnee and vodka. They didnt have a DJ or dancing. I think it would have been better if it ended at 2 to be honest with you. It was just too long since there was no dancing, but we had a really good time and the food was amazing.

Re: Sunday Brunch Weddings??????
What time do they consider brunch?
My ceremony is at 11 and the cocktail hour is 11:30-12:30 followed by the reception until 4:30.
Our menu options are the same though.

Re: Sunday Brunch Weddings??????
I went to a Sunday brunch wedding years ago. It was really different, and since breakfast food is one of my favorites, I was in heaven. They had most of it as a buffet, and then would bring you certain items to the tables. They had tons of bloddy mary's and mimosa's going around and they did have a DJ, so there was a lot of dancing going on. For that wedding I think it started around 1030-11 am. I also went to a wedding where the ceremony started at 11 am and they had a regular cocktail hour and dinner afterwards with a DJ. That was really nice also, tons of dancing going on too.

Sounds like fun and the price is great, but I think you're sacrificing the party vibe in that case

Re: Sunday Brunch Weddings??????
Same here. Not brunch because I wanted sit down but we're doing lunch. With the savings (pp) on this vs Sat night we get to have all the hoopla to make it a real wedding (photographer, DJ, flowers, etc) Brunch is probably my FAVORITE meal
