In honor of Mother's Day my last QOTD has to do with parents.
When did you introduce your parents to FH? When did he introduce you to his parents? When did the parents meet the other parents?
My parents met fh like a week into us dating, we came over my house to watch a movie. I met FH parents, actually the night we started dating, when they came into the movie theatre (where we both worked). I didnt introduce the sets of parents to eachother until a month after we were engaged, and yes, we did date for 6 years before that. Everyone told me i was nuts for it. I probably wouldnt have introduced them at that point, if it wasnt for FHS father calling my parents and congratsing them and asking when they could meet ha.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mom's! And good question, Carly! I like how it relates to the day.
My FH and I actually knew each other since the 4th grade and we were friends for quite a few years.before we started dating. He even lived at my house for a few months and during the holidays when his family moved OOS for a short time. Actually, when he came for Christmas, I think that's when I saw him very differently. So, our mom's have known each other for years. They even go out together some times.

FH met my mom a week into us dating he was dropping me off and she was out side planting flowers. I met his parents a few months later in November right before Thanksgiving. The parents met each other Christmas 2006 one year after FH and I started dating. My family celebrates Christmas Eve and I had invited them over to my house, everyone thought we were getting engaged then..LOL which was not true I was only 21 then and FH was going to be 24 too young to get married..LOL

FH met my parents maybe a week or two into dating. I met his parents manybe a mnth into dating. Our parents didn't met until this summer at his sisters graduation party. We dated for close to 5 years before the parents met. They have seen each other a few more times since we got engaged at showcases at our RH.

My FH met my mother the day he picked me up for my first date. I think she instantly fell in love with him and they get along great (so important). I met his parents not long after we starting dating because he was still living at home.
As far as our parents meeting each other, well we didn't formally introduce them at first, but they had met briefly because my mother owns a business in the community. I actually don't think we all sat down to dinner together until after we got engaged. Oh well. They like each other that's all that matters

My FH met my parents 2 weeks after we started dating and I met FHs mom a little before 2 months. My dad and his mom met when we were moving in together which was 7 months in. Then this past xmas eve we had my parents, his mom, sister and niece over which was a lil before our 1 yr mark.

The 1st time FH met my parents was when he was picking me up to go to Atlantic City about a month into us dating...
I worked with FH's mom so I actually knew her before I knew FH..
Our parents met for the 1st time before our engagement party to go over food & decorations & stuff.

FH met my dad about a month in....I met his parent like 5 months in (my first trip to boston).....our parents have never met! Weird right? Were tryin to make that happen this summer...well off to JT to make a payment (yayy! )

I met FH's parents about 2 months into dating, his grandfather was dying and he didn't want to make the trip himself. I immediately felt like a part of the family even though it was a little awkward.
He met my family a few months later when they flew out to Seattle for a week.
Our parents have not met since they live on opposites sides of the country, but they haven't even talked :( which bothers me a bit. I wish his step-mom would get into it more.

I met FH dad about 5 months into dating. FH Meg my family about a month and a half after starting to date. He met my sister about a month after we started dating.
My parents never met his dad. They met his brothers and sister in laws at FH dad's wake which was 6 months after ww started dating.

I met FH's mom like a week into dating and his father probably a few months after that since he lives in egypt. He met my mom sort of also a few weeks in, but officially I can't really remember. Our moms only met once on mother's day I think like two years ago.
FH met my parents maybe about a week after we started dating. I can't remember exactly when I met his...maybe a few weeks later? A month? Our families didn't meet under the best of terms, unfortunately. My mom went to FH's grandma's wake, and FH's dad went to my grandpa's wake. The first time the entire families met was for our apartment warming party last September.

I met FH partents in a bad way we were at his house in the basement it was late, the dogs started to bark and it woke his dad up, dad was pissed his mom was mad but now its all good,
my mom met him before we started to date dad met him a few months after dating
my mom met fhs mom and my fsil in jan,
my dad has only met fh
so we still need to introduce parents to each other
and this topic came up at easter when his dad asked when he would meet my parents

My FH knew my brother from middle school, and he actually knew my mom from banking at the bank she works at. But he met my mom as my boyfriend about a month after we became 'official' if u want to call it that lol.
I'm not close with my dad at all, have only seen him once in the past 2 years. FH and I ran into him at TGIFridays, so thats when they met lol.
FH's mom past away a few months before we met
I met his brothers and dad right after we became official, because I wouldn't do it before. I wanted to be introduced as his girlfriend, not some girl I hang out with and make out with

FH met my mom pretty quick since he was always coming over to pick me up but I don't remember exactly when. He met my dad and step mom on thanskgiving so thats like 2 months.
I met his parents after a couple weeks.
Our parents met eachother about 2 months after we got engaged.

meeting FH parents was weird and kinda funny, we met at a bar and went back to his house and passed out on the couch and when I woke up his parents where in the kitchen making dinner. I wanted to try to sneak out cause I was TOTALLY embarrassed but his mom being the sweetheart she is just came in and gave me a cup of coffee since FH was still passed out and just started talking to me LOL I started thinking when I got home 'oooo this guy must bring girls home everyweek and that is why she is so cool with it' and almost didn't see him again bc of that I soon learned that she just likes everyone is totally sweet LOL FH met my family like a year and half into our relationship, I don't like introducing people to my fam cause then its weird to go threw the whole 'what happened to so and so' convo and then the following year we had a bbq for our parents to meet. They got along great!

My FH introduced me to his cousins, parents and one of his brothers on our 4th date without even asking me! It was a surprise!! LMAO and I introduced him to my parents after a month. Our parents met two days after we got engaged, we all went to dinner to celebrate and of course Nonna was there too to meet everyone =)

I introduced my FH to my parents about 2 months after we started dating. My father kept telling me he wanted to meet him and then he asked me to bring him out for his birthday dinner! FH's parents live in PA so I met them about 4 months into our relationship. I guess about 9 months into our relationship, FH's parents came down for a weekend so we took both sets out to lunch to meet.
