even though i'm not a sunday night girl, i was just in the bridal party for a sunday night wedding. afterwards most people went home, but a few members of the bp just partied back at the hotel.
yeah i figured most would go home, but i kinda just wanted it to be the bp, but i think i may also be shot myself lol
i wish but i dont think so cuz i think most people wont want to cuz theyll be tired from the day and also might be working on monday. i know that a few people though from my bridal party are taking off on monday but i would feel funny asking the ones that havent mentioned it as if i was suggesting that they should. its a tough one but if you know for a fact that your bridal party with be taking off on monday, then i would go for it if its in your budget

Rather than a fully organized after-party, FH and I are just planning to book our room and rooms for our BP and close family at a hotel with a good bar.
My family will be in from Florida, so they'll be in NYC for a few days afterwards anyway. His family routinely has parties on Sunday nights that begin at, like, 8 p.m. (!!!) so they're used to it.
Our reception ends at 5 p.m. though..
JNA when is your reception over? I think that has a big part in an after party or not. Ours is over at 11, so it is already late as it is. If it was earlier, I would probably have one but I am guessing by the time we leave the hall if the party is over at all, it will be like 11:30-11:45

i'm having a Hindu wedding so its common practice to have a sunday get together...that usually always turns out into a party...and surprisingly everyone stays until very late! dont know how i'm going to keep up with it all..
