Sunday QOTD 11/30

Hi girls sorry its so late but I diddnt have computer access till now

Ok how does everyone fell about there In laws?? FMIL ,FSIL,FBIL,FFIL..........and how does FH feel about his soon to be in laws?

FH and I are very lucky we both love our in laws they are very helpful and we can count on them for anything which is always a great feeling.

Now I know I may have opened a can of worms with this question but I am curious as to how many of us are actually happy to be marrying into our FH's family. Ok discuss

I'm fortunate because FH's family is very close knit and loving, and has accepted me as their own. FH also likes my family, but we have very different families, so I think it's harder for him to get used to my colder family than mine to his warmer.

Sometimes I wish that they would just start cursing tho haha. I feel like they're still on best behavior and it would be so much more reassuring to just see them let loose around me.

FH loves my family and they love him! I am indifferent about his family. Sometimes I like them but sometimes I cant stand them! They are very negative people and they always have something to say about everything!

My FILs are are very different from my family (they're very cold). Maybe it's because I don't know them that well (we've only met like 5 times in 2 years - they live in FL) but I'm having a hard time warming up to them.

I think FH likes my family - I know we are a little over powering at first (we're a big warm Italian family) but it seems like he really enjoys himself at family gatherings.

FH loves my family and my family loves FH.... I used to love my FIL's but for some reason when we got engaged a switch was flipped and I find them (well really just my FFIL) completely annoying... I still love them tho!

I absolutely love my FILs.. All of them!!!

FH's family is also very different from mine and sometimes it is hard for me to adjust but they love and will do anything for their family and that makes up for all of the differences!

fh loves my parents and my family, well most of my fam lol. my fam is veryyy close and always gets together.
his fam is a little differnet but i still like them, but they depend on fh way too much, but what are u gonna do lol.

My parents and FH get along really well, thankfully.

I really loved FFIL but unfortunately he passed away in 2006, so it's sad knowing he won't be at the wedding. As for my other inlaws I don't think they like me, so much has happened in the last 10 years but when we got engaged it's like I committed some horrible crime, who knows, hopefully things will only get better.

Love all of my FIL.... BUT cant stand my FSIL.... she is just a nasty and unhappy person who has a personality disorder (in my opinion and everyone in his family agrees that she has issues). She is nasty to me and my FH and I am not going to make anymore effort to be nice to her... IM DONE!!!!! lol

I'm pretty good with all of my FILs... his mom scares me at times... she has the full Irish temper... but other then that we all get along great. His dad and I get along wonderfully...I couldn't ask for more.

FH gets along with everyone in my family as well. He calls my brother his brother...has for a long time now. I'm thankful the way that things worked out for us in this aspect.

I'm really lucky that I love my FILs!! His mom is the sweetest, nicest person ever! And his dad is adorable. My parents love him, and he loves them too, but my mom is a real PITA so it can get hard at times.

I get along well with FFIL and FSIL. FBIL (FSIL's husband) is a horrible husband and father so I'm polite when we see him but if he pushes the wrong button, that could change quite easily. FH's grandma is also great.

I THINK FH likes my family. He seems to get along with them well enough. We're very very close though and his is not so it's a little different. And at family gatherings, I have a TON of aunts, uncles and cousins and that can be a little overwhelming for him.

I think we both lucked out.

FH and my family mix very well together! I think my mom likes him more than me sometimes lol.

MY inlaws are very nice but his family is very different than mine. I know I will have to just get used to their ways. But we are both lucky because we all get along.

We both LOVE our future in laws. I feel like FH parents and brothers are my own before we got engaged.They are a very family oriented group which I love.... I am very close with my FMIL and FFIL ...i talk to FMIL on the phone adn email daily..FH 2 brothers also have long time girlfriends who I love and we all get along so well and so greatful for that...

same goes for FH and my family..

i couldnt be happier and luckier

OK I love my FMIL, FFIL and I love my FH's grandmother who is 90 (She will be 91 at the time of the wedding). FBIL is nice but has the WORST taste in girlfriends!
FH parents are polar opposites of my loud in your face family! (My parents are Moroccan and lets just say my mom says what she feels without thinking)
FH thinks my parents are hysterical and says I tend to jump down their throat too easy. My parents love FH, and I give him credit for sitting and trying to explain things to them. Ex: my dad is 73 and FH told him we got a Wii Fit! My dad was like what the heck is that! LOL

I am very lucky Fh comes from a great family and I love them. My family loves FH and he loves them. Even my oldest brother who is stuck in a 70's timewarp.

My future in laws are OK...FMIL & FFIL are nice enough but they are very old fashion and a little close minded- FMIL was taking notes on things my grandmother was saying at thanksgiving dinner (***??). FH has four siblings-2 brothers and two sisters...his one sister is a selfish Bi*ch (she caused a lot of drama between FH and I this weekend) and the other is super sweet (go figure) and his brothers both seem pretty cool. Oh I almost forgot FHs one brother is married and that FSIL is really sweet & they have a six month old son who is really cute.

FH loves my family...I am a little jealous!!

I feel like I am the luckiest person in the world to have such amazing FIL's!!! They truly are amazing!!!! My FH is very lucky too.......my parents treat him like a son!!!

FH doesn't really have a large family - his mom passed away a few years ago, his dad is nice but a little out there. His brother and wife are great. . FH loves my family and they love him so that's fabulous.
