Sunken Meadow Pavilion
Hello! I don't know anything about the Sunken Meadow Pavilion except that it is run by the Lessing Family...they run the Smithtown Landing Country Club, Condre Hall in Huntington and a few others. Also, they are the ones who run the consession stand at Sunken Meadow Park. I have heard that their food is not that great.
Yeah i was bummed about the spoiled shower for my sisters sake, and i am still sitting here in shock today ! because there were SO MANY signs that i didnt pick up on ! For my sisters shower 2 yrs ago, i brought her an outfit that I bought myself also that i tricked her into wearing to her own shower...(we're 26 and on some occasions we like dressing alike still just for old times sake - i know corny, right ???) well last week she bought me an outfit at Lord and Taylor but i didnt think anything of it, cuz we always get eachother stuff for no reason...and of course i wore my new outfit on my next day out! and there she was in the same outfit when i got there !! and i always thought that I would suspect my shower every single weekend till my wedding and i was really convinced that they kept the date the 27th ! As far as gifts, there were some duplicates, and 1-2 things that I got 3 of. I got the calphalon set i wanted, lots of sheets, silverware, bedroom and kitchen sets (to be picked out)and lots of everything else......wait, believe it or not NO FINE CHINA ! but it didnt bother me at all (im kind of releived !!) i'll buy it when i settle into the house and i got the dining room set and china closet ready... It really is like a big blur when you are the host of something...i hate that.... we did 2 games, one where every table made a veil (my sis provided toulle, needle and thread, buttons, little fake roses, and these were made before i got there, and i had to pick a favorite after i modeled them (and by applause i knew who made which one !! so now i felt like i was put on the spot ! LOL)i picked the table where this girl was that my mom babysat from 2mths old till she started first grade...shes like a sis to me (my JR BM) she was flower girl for my sis and bro.... she's almost 8....and later she said to me"anna if you didnt pick my veil i wouldnt have talked to you forever" I died laughing... and one more game was called "how well do you know anna" and there were 10 questions of things you should know about me if you are close to me (my middle name, my big third grade crush,my fave TV sitcom, where John proposed, our dating "date", which of the twins is oldest (me!) and a few more....and they got prizes for who answered the most.....
so i had a great time, thanks for asking !
