So this may be a stupid question but, what does sunset really mean? Is it the time the sun hits the horizon and its still light out or is it when its completely past the horizon and its dark?

I know this sounds ridiculous but our CH starts at 6:30pm and the RH looked up sunset for us and its supposed to be at 6:20pm... Hoping that booking on the beach isn't a stupid idea...

If I'm not mistaken, the time while the sun is setting, its called twilight. Sunset is when the sun is past the horizon and its dark.
