SUNSET HARBOR Bridal Showcase

SUNSET HARBOR Bridal Showcase

OK so I attended Sunset Hoarbors bridal showcase tonight,

I never got to walk around to the venders because I was talking too much to one of my friends that I havent seen in a few months.

OK so they hhad hardly any flower presentations. All of the flowers on the table were very low key...nothing elaborate or close to it.

The limos outside were nice and I even got a ride in the limo bus...so cool! Did you know that you could rent one with a dance floor? I think that it would be way to much for a wedding but my dad loves to throw huge parties and wants the guests to be picked up so maybe it is something to get them started.

OK so onto the food. I cant complain. I got in for free with my whole family. I honestly LOVED the fried calamari...it was better than Villa Lombardis. Their salad is really good also! My mom and dad liked the chicken marsala.
So we are booking it for our e party.

The music entertainment was good. i love the idea of a precussionist. I think it adds to the party. Still not convincing the parents about not getting a band. I made a jerk out of myself on the dance floor thinking that I would win something.
But I consider myself a good luck charm since all the other brides at my table won something.

All in all for free its wortth going and seeing the vendors and trying out the food. They have them every month so pass the info along if you hear of anyone being interested.

HTH

What is it like

Well it was raining out so I didnt get to see much of the view. i know that you drive up and alongside you is the bay.

When you walk in there is a foyer and two walk ways. I was told by my friend that if you have more than 170 guests (So bad that I dont remember specific number) that you get the whole place.

One room you walk in and there is a bar right in front of you with a long area to the right and a more rectangular shaped area to your right. i hope I am drawing a visual for you. The bar is right when you walk in so that would be the cocktail hour.

The second room you walk through a wide long hallway with a bar and fireplace (I dont know if the first room has one). Then into the room. There are columns around the dance floor and good sized windows i assume to overlook the water. The ceilings were about 10 ft high.

The do buffet and table service. Tonight was buffett with only one station set up...not sure if that was because the amount of guests or because that is how they set it up for any party.

Workers there were very friendly and helpful.

A few of my friends are having their RH there and to be honest with you I have heard that the dinners there are really good and the portion sizes are bigger than usual.

You notice that people keep going back to the place for other functions. So it has to be a good sign.

I think that my FH and I will be happy with an E party there....but what about my friends wedding? I am not in the party but he and I are very close...and the same people will be attending both. should I book somewhere else?
