Sunset Harbour Brides, I need help!

I just got a flyer in the mail that they will be having an outside bar and grill opening up in May, and that they will be doing karaoke every friday night from 7-11, music on sat from 7-11, and brunch and happy hours on sundays!!!! I am really concerned that during my friday night wedding I am going to hear people singing stupid karaoke songs while I'm having my first dance or something. Also I'm nervous that there will be starngers walking around and mingling with my guests, and even eating the food! My ch is at 7 and will be outside. Also I have spoke to people that have been to weddings there where it had gotten warm in the room and they opened the doors to get some air. Also I am worried about the fact that people will be able to come into my wedidng to use the bathroom. Now I'm worried about my gifts getting stolen. I spoke to someone there this morning and they assured me that t 'shouldn't' interfere, and they will 'do their best' to keep it separate! What if my guests go outside to have a cigarette or get some air? They have to hear people singing! Now I have to go down there and see how it is possible that it won't interfere, but I don't know what I'm going to do! I just want to cry!!! Anyone else getting married at sunset harbour have any of these concerns?

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that.
Let me ask... in your contract does it stipulate that you will be the only event going on? Because technically, that isn't what is happening anymore, and they have to honor the contract.

FH & I were seriously considering booking there for Oct/Nov/Dec... is this singing thing going to be a year round process?

I think it goes until september, I love the place and everything about it, it is just this that is making me nervous! And it's just something else that I just don't want to deal with, with sick relatives and trying to graduate grad aschool I just didn't need this right now! Ugh, I still recommend them, but maybe not during the summer, unless I can see that it really will not be a problem, but it's just hard to imagine that it wont be.

OMG!! We are getting married there, but our ceremony is at 12:30pm and RC to follow. Cocktail hour is at 1 and RC is from 2-6.

I am concerned with the pool that is right by the outside deck. Do I have to listen to kids playing 'Marco/Polo' during my romantic ceremony????!!!!

This place is starting to hit a nerve with me, I cannot believe how they just sent you something in the mail. You probably wouldn't have booked there knowing this nonsense would be going on.

It's frustrating but now they are assuring me that it will not interfere, I will have to go down there and check it out.
