DH & I are going to Giants Training Camp and they practice at SUNY Albany. I have never been to the area so I have no clue what hotels are around there (inexpensive). Anyone have suggestions? Anyone ever been to training camp? We are excited, I hope its fun. TIA

One of my BFFs went ther for college and we were ALWAYS visiting her. Never stayed at a hotel, but I know her parents did. I think it was a holiday inn or something along those lines. I would reccomend you don't stay in downtown albany- it's kinda shady there!
I would check the school website and there should be a list of hotels in the area!

my parents always stayed at the fairfield inn, it's right across from the school.

I stayed in Clifton Park. They were cheaper there and it's about 10 mins away by Thruway.
I think it was the Hol Inn or Hilton Garden Inn.

if you have extra time, maybe stop at lake george. i think it's like an hour north....so pretty!
