Since we were able to cut back on costs in other areas, i convinced FH today to add Super 8 video to our videography package!!! It's an extra I REALLY wanted that he wasn't ready to spend the $$ on at first, but I think it's SO worth it!
Here's a link to some Super 8 our videographer's shot before.

It's the black and white video towards the bottom. I'm so excited, can't wait to see ours!!

Haha, well part of it was unintentional, Old Westbury Gardends sent our check back b/c they're having a car show on our date, and the place we booked instead (Planting Fields in Oyster Bay) was a LOT less expensive... then for groomsmen gifts Nick ended up doing 'Of the month' clubs, which you pay for monthly as they're delivered, so it spreads out the cost a little... The biggest $$ save though was our rings. We found a great place in Howard Beach, it looks a little run down but they had great rings and the best prices we've seen . OH and one of the other 08 brides had the brilliant idea yesterday of ordering business cards from vistaprint (250 cards for less than $20!!) to attach to the favors instead of buying actual 'favor cards'
