Super Annoyed!!

We have an appointment on Sat to get FH and the GM tuxes picked out and ordered. FH brother lives upstate in Buffalo. He is a GM and his son is our RB. To make things easier on them and so we can put everything on one order we asked them to get their measurements taken over a month ago and we will place the order for them and pay the deposit. So why is it 2 days before the appointment and we still do not have their measurements?!?! FH calls his brother who does not answer his calls. He's spoken to his brothers wife and his mother (who lives with them) but its all a bunch of excuses... I forgot, the place was closed, he's tired from work. W.T.F.!!! You've had over a month to get this done and we are actually making it easier for you and less money since we would pay the deposit. Why is it so f'ing hard?!?! It would take 5 mins to get this done! I don't understand! So inconsiderate and rude! FH is upset and I am pissed! I told FH if they don't get us their measurements then they don't need to be in the damn BP! We've asked nothing of them the whole entire time we've been engaged so why can't they get this done?

Oh and another thing, we didn't even plan to have his nephew in the wedding at first because I did not want any kids besides FH daughter. But since they would be traveling from upstate we said fine we'll put him in the wedding. So, another example of how we've made their life easier and put in a extra person in our BP and wedding who wasn't supposed to be there and they can't do something as simple as get their freakin measurements taken!

Unfortunately, some people think its up to the bride and groom to make sure they are not inconvenienced in any way whatsoever for the wedding.
Instead of being a great honor, they think they are doing you a big favor.
Luckily, I dont have any of this in my BP, thank God, but it certainly seems like the attitudes about weddings have really changed.

I'm sorry you're going through this, but if it makes you feel any better....you're not alone. :/ Our hotel room block expires on Thursday and only one person has reserved a room. His brother and sister have not RSVPd or made travel arrangements.

What Karin said is true! Some people think the wedding couple should be 'diapering their posteriors' (How's that for being PC?) during the whole course of the wedding weekend. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around???
