1) Today I'm asking a friend to be my Bridesmaid and wondering if there are 'will you be my bridesmaid' cards available for sale or I have to make mine?
2) Am I supposed to give her a gift when I ask her to be my BM or do I give her the gift sometime later....like the day of?

They have will you be my bridesmaid cards, check places like ebay, exclusivelyweddings.com, places that sell BM and BP gifts usually have them. I don't think you need to give a gift when you ask.

I don't think you're going to be able to find those cards in a sotre today - you'd have to order them online or make them. I gave them little gifts but you definitely don't have too. T

I gave them small gifts....
a necklace with a starfish frmo banana republic (to go with our beachy theme) and tank tops that say 'bridesmaid' or 'maid of honor'...
a gift definitely isn't necessary at this point! you can also just get a blank card and write something cute in it.... like you know they have those adorable black and white cards that are blank inside

seriously this is all i did to make my will be you bm cards
go to michaels get one of those scrapbooking papers fold it in four and then go to the scrapbooking section and get bridesmaid dresses- or something that looks like bm dresses and write a cute poem inside and u are done
fast and easy
also, i did buy them all a gift- i went to party city and they had blush bears wearing a pink bm dress , and i also bought them VS PINK underwear

The answer to the first question: Check exclusivelyweddings.com and invitationsbydawn.com... The answer for your second queston: I didn't give my BM any gifts when I asked them, I am giving them gifts at the RD...

I think that Fortunoff in the registry department might have something like that. I do not remember if the were 'thank you for being a BM' or 'Will u be a BM'

There are stores that def sell those cards, you can try cedarhurst paper. If you live in the city, the store Wedding Things on 3rd (right by Bloomies) sells them. Etcetra might also, they have a store on 72nd on either 2nd or 3rd and another store at 33rd and 3rd.

Hi I saw BM cards on the internet Jean M Weddings or you can make your oqn @ Michaels & AC moore have some good things to use. I made mine... you can give your BM a gift now to ask her ~ something sentimental (I gave my girls a scrapbook with our picture on the front of it of my FH and me when we first met...) the gift to ask them is optional... then you give them a gift to Thank them at the end @ the rehersal or make a special day or a special lunch for your bridesmaids.... good luck!

I am sure this isn't going to help you because it is so late...I saw the same Will you be my bridesmaids? cards I used in Papyrus.If you get this in time I would check there. Oh, P.S. I didn't give my girls a gift, I am saving it for the RD.
