I Super Glued two of my fingers together. Any ideas how to get them apart without ripping off the skin?

I don't have any polish remover here at work. But I'm definitely trying as soon as I get home! And it's kind of hard to type.

I think maybe the spit of a wretched old secretary might loosen it
She is up to her evil tricks again...Someone came into the office to see one of us, and she said to them, 'Would you like to meet with someone smart and nice?', while standing in my doorway. She looked in and said to me, 'You didn't think I meant you, did you?', cackled and evil laugh and got one of my coworkers...Who is neither smart nor nice! And I put some files in a pile since it's her job to file, and she loudly said, 'I guess I'll do the filing since SOMEONE isn't competant enough to either know her alphabet or file some files...'
ETA: She makes me eye twitch because I hate her so much.

I would respond ever so sweetly to this by saying, 'well, the union doesn't allow me to do your job as well as mine, I wouldn't want to have someone filing a grievance against me....' (you are in a state job, right??)

Yup, state jobs, which is the only reason she hasn't been fired long, long ago. All the higher ups are afraid of union suits if they get rid of anyone, but hopefully she will retire soon.

You're preaching to the choir, my friend. I don't work for the state, but a municipality (but have worked other places before this) and I often say, 'these people better never lose their jobs - they will never make it on the outside!'

The story of my life! What's sad is I worked so, so hard when I first started here, and quickly learned that no matter what you do, everyone is treated equally. So people show up hours late, leave early, and do nothing in between, and are treated the same as when I worked my butt off all day and stayed late. So I changed, and now do not work as hard, but it makes me feel bad seeing what I've become. I started out so motivated and now am just disillusioned and bitter. And only 27.

Re: Super Glue
Beth, what exactly happened? How did you super glue your fingers?
You need a change. I was feeling kinda frustrated, but I feel better since I started teaching so many classes. It actually helped me!!!
