SUPER-VENT
can't give out too many details but i found out we over-paid for something (by at least $1000) ... FH and i spoke to the vendor last night (mostly me speaking) ... the vendor called me 'honey' which i told him not to do ... the vendor then goes 'goodbye' and just hangs up!!!
i called him back and he said he didn't hang up, we were just disconnected (that's bull - vendor was on speaker so FH heard the 'goodbye' too!)
then the vendor tells me he knows a good price and that the other price i got (for comparisson) is wrong ... i give him FACTS about it and he says they're not real ... he then tells me he knwos more about his field than i will in my entire life. it may be true, but the point is that he's still wrong!
the call ended with him asking for a fax from me with the other vendor quote.
so today, i faxed it over ... FH called the vendor to confirm and the vendor told him 'i'm glad you called - i'd rather deal with you than with her. She was getting too excited' (FH obviously defended me saying i was only 'excited' because i was offended by his words!) .... anyway, the vendor then tells FH 'don't listen to your fiance ... listen to what i'm telling you'. Um ... are you serious?
FH got sooooo mad at this idiot vendor that he hung up on him.
Anyway, i have a work-meeting in about 5 minutes but when the meeting is over, FH and I will be calling up this a$$.
i want a full refund at this point because this guy was such a d!ck to deal wtih!
