So what is everyone doing for the superbowl on sunday. My FH wants to have a party so I am trying to think of things to make and stuff. I have already thought of making buffalo shrimp, pigs in a blanket, veggies and dip (for me and my girls who are getting married that are trying to fit into our wedding dress..lol) nacho dip etc. Any suggestions are welcome :)

Re: Superbowl
OK since we have this topic what would you do if:
Every year you get together with friends...good friends
You always offer to bring food and you are always there to help clean up
Friend invites everyone over this year and puts out a list of what everyone HAS to bring???
We have always brought but
she put what you are drinking including soda and water
'I'll also need someone to bring paper plates, plastic wear, and napkins'
We are buying the hero so every couple should pitch in $10
OK this is my really good friend. She and her husband are teachers....they make really good money and own a house.
When I have company I host...food drinks and stuff...you offer to bring that is fine....I think my friend is cheap and I really dont know what to say to her. FH and I have decided to go somewhere else and we are bringing a lot of food...but how do I tell my friend how I feel?

Re: Superbowl
no that definitely seems a little tacky. I would never ask my friends to pay for anything if I'm inviting them over to my house.

Re: Superbowl
but what do you say to the person. She is a good friend and I just dont know how to approach it. I feel as though I shouldnt since she is in my wedding party. FH is a bit upset because he really does a lot with helping them with fixing up the house and stuff and I am upset because how do you do that to your friends.
We are adults...we can host a party once in a while

Yeah I agree. That is not cool at all. But there probably isn't a nice way to bring it up. It might not be worth it either to bring it up. But I would be upset by it also. It's their party.

Really good dip....
Spread cream cheese onthe bottom of a pan then put salsa and then cheese(mexican mix) and then put it in the oven to melt the cheese and then use tostitos!!
the best thing you will ever eat!!!!!!!!!
Or instead of salsa use chili. Chili cheese dip, yum!
